we have some gorgeous peonies, thistle, and unripened blueberry left over from yesterday's interior styling, so juliet whipped up this arrangement for her friend. these peonies were some of the most beautiful ones i've ever seen. so yummy i could eat them!
i heart meg ryan in a big way. always have and probably always will. french kiss will go down as one of my all time favorites. when i stumbled upon her home featured in elle decor i had to wipe the drool from my face. her kitchen is simply stunning!
this past monday we designed a photo shoot for glow cookies. inspired by glow's retro packaging, we incorporated jadeite glass cake stands and mixing bowl, vintage inspired cooking utensils, old school glass cookie jars, and of course some bright flowers.
we were thrilled to have missy photography snapping the photos for the day and wanted to share some of her amazing shots for you to enjoy.
This morning the flower market was so full of gorgeous things that it was hard to not go on a total shopping spree! Here is a fun spring bouquet that we put together for a delivery we had today. Check Sierra out in the background :)
i just wanted to share with you a photo taken by peter of vesa wedding photographers of a recent bridal bouquet we did. the bride was such a sweetheart and we we're so excited to work with her. more photos to come on chatterberries soon.
we're a boutique floral and event design company in new york city. we (juliet & sierra) met when we both moved to the big apple in 2007. one day we got to talking, and decided to combine our love for design, flowers, and parties. and so, poppies & posies was born!
every detail of our
fabulous fetes are meticulously designed and,
whenever possible, handcrafted.
our arrangements are inspired
by the organic movement and composition of the country gardens that we both spent sunny summer days in as children. we love what we do and hope you will too!
